It’s not often that you get two chart topping acts for the price of one so you might as well make the most of it. Lily Allen won Best Female and Dizzee Rascal won Best Male at last month’s Brit Awards.
Both Lily and Dizzee took the festival circuit by storm last summer and they look set to repeat their success this year.
The dance duo — Andy Cato and Tom Findlay — are doing a short tour to celebrate the launch of their new album “Black Light”.
Singer Saint Saviour — who has been described as a cross between Kate Bush and Anthony and the Johnsons — will front the shows.
“Black Light” features guest vocals from Bryan Ferry, Will Young and Empire of the Sun’s Nick Littlemore.
THE Miserable Rich got their name after playing at the wedding of ultra-wealthy aristocrats in Rome.
The Brighton chamber pop quintet are making music that is quite different from anything else on the market.
Cellist and pianist William Calderbank and singer/percussionist James de Malplaquet formed the group with the intention of creating quirky acoustica and new album “Of Flight And Fury” showcases their vibe.
Their debut release “Twelve Ways To Count” was recorded in James’ front room — a fact that becomes apparent from the album’s rustic feel.
You can catch The Miserable Rich’s unique brand of acoustic loveliness at Manchester’s Deaf Institute on Sunday.
