LEGENDARY Brit poppers Suede will stage an intimate gig at the Manchester Ritz.

The show will act as a warm up for the band’s much heralded reunion gig at the Royal Albert Hall next week in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust.

The Manchester show, on Sunday, will be the first time Suede, led by Brett anderson (pictured) have played together for over a decade. They enjoyed success in the 90s with hits such as “Trash”, “Beautiful Ones” and “Saturday Night”.


Basshunter is set to bring the party to a Manchester nightclub. The dance star — also known as Jonas Altberg — shot to fame with number one hits “Now You’re Gone” and “All I Ever Wanted”.


The biggest selling Swedish artist since Abba writes, produces and sings all his own work as well as putting his name to other dance projects.

He will be performing at Pure in The Printworks on Friday as part of Ministry of Sound’s Dance Nation tour alongside Angel City, Nordic Stars, Ultra DJs and DJ Kalvin.


MANCHESTER dance trio Delphic are riding high after securing a top 10 spot with their debut album “Acolyte”.

Richard Boardman, Mathew Cocksedge and James Cook finished in the top three of both the BBC Sound of 2010 poll and the Brits Critics Choice Award. They reconnect with their local fans at a gig at Sankeys in Manchester tomorrow.

The Automatic will be forever haunted by their biggest hit, but the Cardiff quartet are keen to show they’re much more than just one hit wonders.

The quartet will take to the stage at Manchester’s Academy 3 on Friday. Third album “Tear the Signs Down” is due for release later this month.


NEW Young Pony Club, who released their self-produced new album “The Optimist” yesterday, will play at Manchester’s Moho Live on Saturday.
