DANISH popsters Alphabeat will strut their funky stuff at the Manchester Academy 2 on Saturday.
The six-piece — who shot to fame with hits such as “Fascination” and “The Spell” — favour an 80s vibe, taking inspiration from Prefab Sprout and Deacon Blue.
The band - Anders SG, Stine Bramsen, Anders B, Rasmus Nagel, Anders Reinholdt and Troels Hansen — are fresh from supporting Lady Gaga on her Monster Ball tour.
