FANS of Foals would be fools to miss the Oxford quintet’s intimate gig at the Manchester Ritz tonight.
They release their second album, “Total Life Forever”, next week, preceded by new single “This Orient”. Their debut album, “Antidotes” soared into the top three before they returned to Oxford to build a simplistic studio and concentrate on writing new material.
FRESH from their support slot with metal giants Lost Prophets, Kids In Glass Houses are venturing out on their own.
The UK tour supports the release of the bands second album, “Dirt”, later this month.
Singer Aled Philips said: “This is probably the most excited we’ve ever been for a tour. We’ll be putting on more of a stage show than before.”
The album was recorded in Texas and features guest appearances from New Found Glory and Frankie Sandford from The Saturdays.
The tour rolls in Manchester’s Academy 2 tonight.
DETROIT Social Club are on the cusp of releasing their first album and are hitting the road to mark the occasion.
They will headline the New To Q tour — organised by the music magazine — which comes to Manchester’s Sound Control on Monday. The band will be joined by support acts Tiffany Page and Goldhawks.
A MIX of ska, metal, punk, rap and dub come together to ensure Gogol Bordello are one of the most exciting bands around.
The band released their fifth album, “Trans-Continental Hustle”, last month and you can catch them live at the Manchester Academy on Saturday.
