BEATS: Barbados-born beauty Rihanna has been a regular feature in the charts since she burst on to the scene with “Pon de Replay” in 2005.
She moved to America when she was 16 and landed herself a contract with Def Jam Records after auditioning for label head Jay Z.
Rihanna — real name Robyn Fenty — has won three Grammy Awards and enjoyed massive chart success across the globe with hits such as “Umbrella”, “Rude Boy”, “Don’t Stop The Music” and “SOS”.
But the 22-year-old has also become well known for her outlandish fashion sense, hair styles, tattoos and music videos.
Rihanna’s biggest influences are Mariah Carey, Madonna and Janet Jackson alongside more current artists such as Alicia Keys, Gwen Stefani and Destiny’s Child.
