BEATS: AFTER filling the support slot for both Lily Allen and Tinchy Stryder, Example is raring to hit the road on his own UK tour.
His top 10 smash “Won’t Go Quietly” propelled him into the limelight and he wasted no time getting back into the studio to work on his new album which features collaborations with a host of impressive names.
With appearances at Glastonbury, Wireless, V, Bestival and Get Loaded lined up for this summer, it seems Example is certainly one to watch.
The 27-year-old rapper - real name Elliot John Gleave — comes to Manchester’s Club Academy tomorrow.
DON’T MISS: Airship, Deaf Institute, Manchester, Friday
LOCAL lads Airship are going all out to uphold Manchester’s reputation as Britain’s music capital.
The lads — Elliott Williams (vocals), Tom Dyball (bass), Marcus Wheeldon (guitar) and Steven Griffiths (drums) — create rock-tinged, leftfield guitar songs which soar gloriously.
They have shared a stage with Biffy Clyro and Editors and word of their talent is spreading fast.
