Starman’s lead singer Andrew Stone shot to fame on Sky One’s reality show Pineapple Dance Studio.
The outrageously camp frontman has become notorious for his questionable clothes and retro hair do’s. The charity gig, which will also feature performances from Our Innocence Lost, Next Stop Atlanta and Marcquelle Ward, is in aid of the North West Air Ambulance. Fans can also win a private dance lesson with Andrew at the Pineapple Dance Studios in London’s Covent Garden.
Andrew said: “I’m really excited about coming to Manchester because the band has had some incredible support from Northerners. I support the North West Air Ambulance charity because a dear friend of mine was in a car crash near Bolton two years ago and the helicopter was there within a matter of minutes. We will put on a right show for all the fans.”
