Nora Jones Manchester Apollo, Monday
The multiple Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter is touring the UK in support of her new album “The Fall”.

Her fourth release sees the 31-year-old shed her “snorah” tag and showcase a grittier side. As well as sing, Norah also plays the piano, keyboards and guitar. Her debut album “Come Away With Me” made her an instant success in 2002 thanks to its lilting vocals and easy going vibe. It earned her eight Grammy Awards including Album of the Year, Record of the Year and Best New Artist. This was followed by “Feels like Home” in 2004 and “Not Too Late” in 2007. She has sold more than 37 million albums worldwide — more than any other female jazz artist during the 2000s. The Brooklyn-born songstress favoured artists such as Willie Nelson and Billie Holiday when she was growing up and started singing in church choirs from a young age.
