Sister’s full of funny ideas

The art of HUMOURING SIBLINGS:
As you can imagine, being an expert in everything is pretty exhausting.
I can’t just throw these pieces together.
Each topic has to be researched extensively, written with care and precision and then read by numerous people to take out all the spelling mistakes.
So, the need for new subjects and the need for me to stumble across new arenas in which I can enable people to succeed is always pressing on one’s mind.
When in times of need, turn to your family for support and you won’t be disappointed.
After mentioning to my little sister that a desire for new topics means I spend most of my life with my head in my hands trying to think really hard, she suggested she might be of use.
Two brains are better than one she argued and she was pretty confident that hers was better than mine.
She took on the task of helping me with an enthusiasm I’ve not seen since in her since she used to borrow (steal) my best clothes as a teenager before leaving them screwed up and hidden under her bed.
Anyone who has a little sister will know how lucky they are.
They can make you laugh or scream with apparent ease, pressing the buttons that only younger siblings know exist.
They’re a friend, a confidante, a pain and a nuisance.
A day after our conversation, I was pleased to receive an email which announced, “The list is endless!!”
Here are a few of her offerings…
“Yo Fitzy, I’ve been thinking of ideas for your Learn with Kev, how about… The art of having a awesome sister? The art of having a sister who is your hero?
“The art of having a much better-looking sister? The art of accepting that your sister is funnier than you? The art of wishing you actually were your sister?
“The art of having a sister who calls you faceache?
I’m sure you’ll agree, all very worthy topics and things in which I’m obviously already an expert. I expect some of them will appear in coming weeks.
Thanks Hannah, and Happy Birthday.
