FORMER burlesque dancer Paloma Faith will bring the feelgood factor to Manchester.
The sassy songstress, who will belt out her hits at the Apollo on Sunday, is well-known for her quirky sense of style but it’s her unique voice that she should really recognised for.
Her debut album “Do You Want The Truth Or Something Beautiful?” reached number nine and achieved platinum status, spawning hits such as the title track, “Stone Cold Sober” and “New York”.
Paloma studied for an MA in theatre directing at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London, working various part-time jobs including sales assistant at posh lingerie shop Agent Provocateur, singer in a burlesque cabaret, life model and magician’s assistant along the way.
Her jazz soul style has won her many admirers with comparisons drawn to Etta James and Amy Winehouse.
