FUNKSTERS Jamiroquai are hitting the road for their first Uk tour in over five years.
The band shot to fame during the acid jazz movement of the 1990s, fronted by hat-wearing funkmaster Jay Kay.
Now, on the back of the recent top 10 album ‘Rock Dust Light Star’, the band are ready to put on another electrifying mix of dance tunes and disco grooves.
The band have been on a hiatus since lasting hitting Manchester during 2005’s Dynamite Tour.
Their performance at the Manchester Evening News next Tuesday (april 19) will see new hits performed live for one of the first times, while the band promise to treat fans to new takes on old club favourites such as ‘Space Cowboy’ and ‘Cosmic Girl’. SPINE-TINGLING vocals belting out heartbreaking melodies are in store for lucky locals who have managed to bag themselves the hottest ticket in town this weekend.
Soulstress Adele is performing live at Manchester Academy on Sunday and promises to treat fans to her winning mix of emotion and effortless vocals.
Recent tear-jerking chart-topper Someone Like You is sure to please the crowd along with stomping single Rolling in the Deep taken from her second album, 21. Fan favourite ‘Make You Feel My Love’ is destined to be a highpoint.
