Short but very sweet

THIS is no ordinary boy band — they sing, they write their own music and they play their own instruments.
They appeal to all ages, from young teenagers to older women - and there were quite a few men there who hadn’t only been dragged along by their other halves.
Lead singer Andy Brown, guitarist Joel Peat, drummer Adam Pitts and bassist Ryan Fletcher produced energetic performances of hits from debut album “Chapman Square” and a number of B-sides.
At one point during Standing in the Dark they didn’t even have to sing — the fathful sang it for them.
Andy did a superb solo with a heartfelt version of The Girl I Knew, chronicling the breakdown of a relationship.
The show was only an hour, but I could have happily stood there for another hour.
