M People appoint Conneran

New operations manager at M People Aaron Conneran

Aaron Conneran has been appointed as the operations manager for the accountancy and finance arm of recruitment specialist M People in Oldham town centre.

In the past, Conneran worked for Hays Recruiment in Oldham and then moved to a new role in West Yorkshire. 

He grew up in Moorside, attended Our Lady’s Primary School and Oldham Hulme Grammar School and Sixth Form, before studying at Liverpool Hope University.

He spent seven years with Oldham Community Leisure before moving into recruitment.

He now lives in Saddleworth and married his wife at the historic but decommissioned Heights Church in Delph, after securing special permission.

Speaking about his experience and new role, Conneran said: “Being an Oldham lad born-and-bred, and having lived here for over 30 years, I have always had a passion for helping other local people secure local career vacancies and have developed some excellent relationships with businesses.

“Since beginning my new venture for M People Accountancy and Finance, I have already assisted a few local clients including a man interested in a finance career who has joined furniture components firm Hill’s Panel Products.”

Conneran has also recruited Sophie Regan, from Royton, as a trainee recruitment consultant at M People.
