Toy manufacturer says business is booming

A toy manufacturer from Oldham says it has delivered a very solid performance and is making good progress in meeting the demands of its customers.

The Character Group creates toys and games – from the design to the distribution across the world – including Peppa Pig, Stretch, and Teletubbies.

They also work on Little Live Pets and Mashems – along with new ranges, like Pokemon, Treasure X, and the Doorables Disney Collection.

 Ahead of the company’s results for the year to 31 August, the company said the group had seen a return to its previous growth pattern during the second half.

The company reports record sales for UK domestic business – and says the trading results will comfortably reach market expectations.

The group is expecting to release its preliminary results for the year ended 31 August in November.
