Award joy for 'truly outstanding' Cornerstone Estates and Lettings

Date published: 21 July 2022

Shaw-based estate agent Cornerstone Estates and Lettings Ltd has been named a British Property Awards Winner for the second year running.

Winners must have passed a strict criteria list to qualify.

The award highlights ‘truly outstanding agents who go above and beyond for their clients’ and show consistent success in property sales.

Despite the pandemic, Cornerstone has seen substantial growth following its inception in 2018.

Managing Director, Shereen Howarth, founded the company as a solo agent after decades in finance.

She has since taken four additional property experts under her wing and offers specialised property investment consultation alongside traditional estate agent services.

Shereen said: “I am over the moon to win this award.

"I was confident that we would win again this year due to the hard work we put in as a team.

"But to actually hear those words is just amazing.”

Cornerstone’s Google Profile shines with regular, and often in-depth, five-star reviews from first-time customers and repeat clients.

Shereen attributes this success to her unique approach to the sector.

She added: “I always wanted to be the estate agent with a difference - an all-under-one-roof solution.

“We are where first-time buyers feel as at home as seasoned property investors.

"Our work with the local area also takes precedent.

"We’re nothing without our local communities.”

Charitable work and ‘giving back’ is something close to Shereen’s heart, a Samaritan volunteer and financial supporter of local organisations.

The British Property Award accolade comes less than a week after Shereen was shortlisted by Oldham Business Awards for Business Person of the Year – whereby individuals chosen demonstrate ‘a significant business contribution to the borough’.

Cornerstone Estate and Lettings Ltd is situated on Market Street in Shaw with current property listings available to view at: cornerstoneonline.co.uk
