The Lancashire and Cheshire Amateur Football League has new Premier Division leaders as Salford Vics pulled off a great win, scoring the only goal of their game with former leaders Moston Brook.

North Walkden took full advantage of that result as they enjoyed a comfortable 5-0 win over Didsbury Athletic, with Aidan Doyle (three), Tom Ward and Travis Vaughan netting to move them three points clear at the top.

Closer to home, Shaw Athletic missed their opportunity to go above Brook into second spot as they lost out 3-2 at Irlam Steel Rangers.

Chadderton Park are in cruise control at the top of Division One as a 4-0 win at previous leaders High Lane maintained their 100 per cent record and move them a point clear with four games in hand.

In Division Two, Moston Brook reserves kept up their 100 per cent record with a 5-2 win at Aldermere.

North Walkden joined the five-goal club, beating AFC Oldham 5-2.

Dukinfield Athletic stay four points clear at the top of Division Three, but were taken all the way at Woodhouses in a gritty 1-0 win.

Goal-hungry Santos beat local rivals Saddleworth 7-4 after leading 4-1 at half time, thanks to goals from Denzel King (two), Liam Churchill and Ben Marshall.

In the second half Saddleworth replied twice, before Patterson and another brace from King proved too much, before a late consolation goal by the visitors.

In Division A, Oldham Saints were able to celebrate after posting their first win of the season in a 5-4 thriller at Milnrow Firgrovia.
