Shaw prospect Theo Shaw fought for the WMF area title at 47.5kg on the Valley Thai fight night in Rochdale.
Theo fought an opponent who he previously beat so the pressure was on his shoulders to do the same again, and by unanimous decision he won the fight and is now the new WMF area champion at 47.5kg.
Theo trains six days per week at Max Force Muay Thai in New Hey, which is owned by Bradley Tunnacliffe and Shaunna Pratt-Tunnacliffe.
Bradley said: "We are so proud of Theo.
"He was so committed to his training and proving to everyone that the first time round wasn't just a fluke.
"Theo is a credit to the club and this is just the beginning for him.
"He is another champion added to our ever-growing fight team."
Max Force also had another two fighters competing on the day.
Jacob Cartwright of Lees won by unanimous decision and Darcey Moskwin saw her fight called a no-contest due to the local girl getting knee'd to the face on multiple occasions.
So of course, health comes first and the fight was rightfully waved off.
