A group from Jayne Barnes Dance
A popular dance school from Oldham is going from strength to strength.
Established over 30 years ago, Jayne Barnes Dance boasts excellent membership numbers.
Jayne runs the club along with her daughter Rachel.
Following recent auditions, Jayne Barnes Dance have been asked to send a team to dance at Disneyland in Paris in October, while a trip to New York beckons in 2019.
Over the past three decades, JBD have helped raise money for numerous charities.
Recently the students achieved the highest exam results since the club’s formation, and went on to appear in the official NATD Dance magazine.
Students take part in competitions, shows, workshops and fund-raisers throughout the year.
A team from JBD recently performed at a Royton Park fundraiser for the families of the Manchester Arena attack, while last year a show raised £815 for Dr Kershaw’s Hospice.
Jayne Barnes Dance offer classes and private lessons in Ballet, Tap, Stretch, Adult Tap and Adult Ballet.
