Global Islamic award winner heads to Oldham

Shaykh Faisal Hamid Abdur-Razak

Shaykh Faisal Hamid Abdur-Razak, from Toronto in Canada, is visiting the UK this month as part of his tour titled 'Light upon Light'.

He is a world renowned personality and has delivered keynote speeches in the USA, England, Germany, Norway, India, Malaysia, Barbados, and many more countries.

In 2017 he was granted the Global Islamic Personality award and recognised as 'The Most Prominent Islamic Spirituality Scholar'.

He is the President of The Islamic Forum of Canada and holds various notable positions, including being a member of the Canadian Multifaith Federation.

When he's not teaching he's involved in counselling, interfaith work and building communities.

He's known for his approachable nature and genuine concern for humanity.

The tour is free to attend and open to all.
