OLDHAM families need to ramp up their Golden Energy and prepare for a weekend packed with fun, action, entertainment – and the very best of K Pop.
This weekend (19 and 20 September) Alexandra Park is being transformed into a huge party venue, bringing together live performances, meet and greets and a range of giant inflatables.
Each day fans of the popular Korean music phenomenon can enjoy three live performances, while in between times they can meet up with the performers and take the opportunity to be photographed with them.
Along with the well-loved music, each show will feature high energy dance routines and bring the very best of KPop to Oldham.
To ensure the day is one for all the family, there will be a whole range of giant inflatables for everyone to play on, including a giant obstacle course.
Although this is the first event of its kind at the park, the organisers are no strangers to the area and are behind the ever-popular Oldham Summer Beach and Dino Fun World.
“We know how popular KPop is so we have created our own JKPop event and are bringing it first to one of our favourite places – Alexandra Park,” said Kris Longshaw of JK Events.
“We know it’s going to be a fantastic weekend with a programme that will appeal to families and music fans alike.”
