They raised more than £200 for Maggies Oldham
Energetic ladies danced up a storm to raise £222 for Maggies Centre, Oldham at a fun Zumbathon fundraiser.
The event, organised by Saddleworth Singers, saw an enthusiastic team of women gather at Springhead Community Centre for the session, led by Zumba instructor and choir member Tricia Hamer.
They enjoyed an hour of busting out moves to popular songs from across the decades before enjoying a well-earned cake and chat.
With the proceeds added to their pot, Saddleworth Singers has already raised more than £500 for their chosen charity of the year Maggies.
The charity provides free support for anyone affected by cancer at drop-in centres across the UK, with the nearest one located in the grounds of the Royal Oldham Hospital.
Tricia Hamer holds Zumba classes at Grotton Pavilion on Mondays at 6.30pm and Thursday at 6pm. Only £4 per class or two classes for £7. There are also classes on Friday sat 11.30am at Saddleworth OCL Gym for members.
All abilities welcome. For more information call Tricia: 07500 831845.
