Coliseum invites you to pen 100 words all about Oldham

Date published: 02 August 2019

The Coliseum Theatre is inviting writers of all ages and levels of experience to submit 100 Word Plays about Oldham which will be displayed throughout the theatre from September.

Submitted plays will be printed on a variety of materials and displayed throughout the theatre in crafty and creative forms and places.

A selection of the plays will also be recorded and curated into a podcast.

The plays can be about anything related to Oldham – the people, the history, the future, the landmarks – even the tubular bandage, but they must be 100 words or less, including stage direction.

Submission guidelines are available on the Coliseum’s website at: http://www.coliseum.org.uk/work-with-us/100-word-plays/

The deadline to submit 100 Word Plays about Oldham is Monday, August 19.

The Coliseum’s 100 Word Plays project is inspired by and acknowledges Royal Court, London’s 100 Word Plays which ran during the Young Writer’s Festival in 2012.
