Kind-hearted Robert Knotts and Tony Burke have presented a £1,000 cheque to Lucy Lees, Mahdlo's CEO on behalf of Saddleworth Rotary Club.
Mahdlo is planning to hold key events over Christmas time and the generous-spirited club provided a much-needed boost to help with a family Christmas meal which will be strictly invite only with the team will be inviting families who they feel would benefit from the event.
It will be a party atmosphere and have a DJ, fun and games as well as providing them with a three course meal.
Every family that attends will leave Mahdlo with a Magical Christmas Bag containing Christmas goodies.
The Mahdlo mentoring team will be holing a Christmas party and all young people attending will receive a small gift, which maybe the only gift they receive this year.
Junior, Senior and Ability Christmas Parties – we will be for young people over two days this month will have a selection of gifts to hand out.
The Rotary donation is aimed at helping to fund the events.
