A unique eye catching Well Dressing plaque, designed by the Street Scene Greenfield Group, has received acclaim across the community.
Said Steph Pelmore: “Members of the Group, plus other volunteers then created the picture using all natural materials - apart from three shiny items included as ‘jewels.’
“The frame was constructed three years ago by Men in Sheds and then filled with 60 kilos of clay shortly before the current project started.
“The work took three full days to complete, each night being sprayed with water to ensure the clay remained damp and workable.”
The plaque has been securely attached to the planter on Chew Valley Road Greenfield, and will remain on site until June 12.
