£10,000 Miller Homes Community Fund re-launches

Date published: 08 February 2024

Miller Homes has announced the return of its highly successful and much-anticipated Community Fund  with the first round of applications opening shortly for 2024, building on the resounding achievements of both 2022 and 2023.

The builder remains committed to supporting local communities and making a positive impact in the areas where it builds.

In the spirit of this, Miller Homes will once again offer £10,000 to charities and community groups across Oldham and Greater Manchester.

Since its establishment in September 2022, the Miller Homes Community Fund has demonstrated its dedication to community support by donating over £20,000 to schools, charities and other good causes across the North West.

Organisations such as The Brain Charity Liverpool and Little Green Sock in Manchester have all benefited from £1000 donations from the Community Fund, with the money going towards respective projects and advancements in their initiatives.

Other beneficiaries have included care homes, food banks, schools, sports clubs and youth hubs to name just a few.

The first round of funding for 2024 will be open for applications from Wednesday, March 13 to Wednesday, April 24, 2024, with all local community and charity groups in the North West encouraged to apply.

Successful groups will be notified starting from May onwards.

Donations ranging from a minimum of £250 to a maximum of £2000 will be awarded to the successful applicants.

Miller Homes' dedication to building communities extends across the entire UK, with each of its ten regional offices having its own £10,000 fund.

Collectively, these funds will contribute £100,000 to community projects this year alone.

Clare Noakes, Sales Director for Miller Homes in the North West, said: “We remain committed to making a positive impact in the communities where we build.

"We encourage all interested parties to apply for the grant, as we have witnessed first-hand the positive impact it can have on individuals and groups.

"Your application could be the next step in creating meaningful change, and we look forward to considering all submissions.”
