First Choice Homes Oldham is offering ten three-bedroom and three four-bedroom properties at Hartshead View off Rosary Road.

The homes form part of the first phase of 29 properties completed at the development this summer.

The other 16 properties in the phase were provided for social rent.

First Choice Homes Oldham said a 25 per cent share in a three-bedroom home typically costs £71,250, while a 25 per cent share in a four-bedroom property costs £90,000.

Shares of between 10 and 75 per cent are available, with prices depending on the property and the size of the share purchased.

Andy Ewart, FCHO executive director of corporate services and deputy chief executive, said: “Shared ownership can be a good choice for people who want to get a firm foot on the housing ladder and we’re pleased to be able to offer these 13 family homes at Fitton Hill.

“This is a major development where we are building a new community. It is also in an area people want to live and, when finished, two thirds of the properties will be family homes – a key consideration as we look to help with the need for larger houses in Oldham.”

FCHO is due to take over 101 properties at the development by 2027 under a £15.7 million deal with developer Vistry Group.

The detached and semi-detached properties have Energy Performance Certificate ratings of A or B and are fitted with solar panels.

The shared ownership homes are being marketed through FCHO's Fabric Living brand.
