Editor,
Acquiring a hearing loss can cause difficulties in understanding conversation for many people.
Our charity, Promoting Deaf Issues, will be putting on FREE lipreading classes in Oldham for people with a hearing loss.
The teacher is fully qualified and very experienced and the classes will start in early 2023.
These classes will provide lipreading practice in a friendly atmosphere, useful information about organisations and equipment, strategies for managing in difficult situations and a chance to share problems and solutions with others who have similar problems .
If you are interested, please write to us a Manchester Centre for Deaf Studies, PO Box 319, Manchester, M21 3DG, or email us at: enquiries@manchesterdeafstudies.org
