Funeral details of former Chronicle editor announced

The funeral details for the former Oldham Chronicle Editor Jim Williams have been announced.

We reported the sad news last week that the 75 year old had died.

Mr Williams spent 45 years in the Oldham newsroom, before retiring in 2010.

You can say your final goodbye next Monday (18th February) at St Chads Church, Uppermill. 

The service starts at 1pm and will be followed by a family service at the crematorium.
