THE reception staff at Woodlands Medical Practice have been nominated for a Pride in Oldham award.
The staff at the practice on Middleton Road, Chadderton were nominated for their hard work, well mannered demeanour and constant smiles as they tend to the needs of those seeking medical advice in the borough.
The practice works hard with a motto of trying to put the patient's needs at the heart of what they do with all staff striving to do so.
Matthew Cooper, practice manager, said: "It is a great honour that they have been nominated and they are great staff.
"It is good for the staff, they do a lot of hard work and to receive recognition for that is fantastic.
"They definitely put in the hard work and I am very pleased for them. As a practice I am pleased with all of the staff.
He said: "The NHS often gets a lot of negativity and it is nice to see something positive. It is nice to have the hard work appreciated.
"Every member of staff is always tying to help and do their best for the patient."
Matthew added: "As part of our motto it is trying to put the patient's needs at the heart of what we do. We are really proud to be nominated."
