LAST year’s Readers’ Choice winners QEST (Quality & Effectiveness Support Team), with the Chronicle’s then editor Jim Williams. QEST provide support for children with special needs to enable them to attend mainstream schools in Oldham.
Who will you vote for this time?
HERE is your chance to vote for the readers’ choice award as part of Pride in Oldham, 2010 — the nomination you think is worthy of special recognition.
The awards’ independent judges are now busy choosing the line-up of finalists for the ten other categories involved — business, professional, health worker, education worker, volunteer, group, sport administrator, sporting achievement, special achievement and school.
But the readers’ award is all down to you and those short-listed will be invited to next month’s prestigious awards lunch — to be held at the Queen Elizabeth Hall, on Thursday, December 2.
To take part in the readers’ choice award, study the list of all the individuals, groups and businesses nominated and featured in the pages of the Oldham Evening Chronicle during this year.
To cast your vote put the number of the nominee of your choice in the box provided on the coupon, along with your name, address and daytime telephone number and send it to: Pride in Oldham Readers’ Choice Award 2010, The Editor, Oldham Evening Chronicle, 172 Union Street, Oldham. OL1 1EQ.
The nominee polling the most votes will receive the special Chronicle Readers’ Choice Award. In the event of a tie, the Pride in Oldham independent judging panel will decide the winner. No photocopies accepted. Closing date for entries is Tuesday, November 9.
All those voting for the eventual winner will go in a draw to win an invitation for two to the awards lunch.
