ElizaLand is available free of charge to terminally ill children and their families.

Little Lady Locks supports children affected by hair loss conditions including cancer and alopecia.

The £10,000 donation has helped the charity install equipment and accessories at ElizaLand, which was established in memory of Eliza, who had a terminal illness.

The Oldham facility provides a space where terminally ill children can spend time with their families away from clinical settings.

When it is not being used by the charity's beneficiaries, ElizaLand is available to hire for children's parties and activities. Money raised from bookings goes to Little Lady Locks to support its work with children affected by cancer and other hair loss conditions.

Michelle Higgins, Little Lady Locks Trustee, said: “Morrisons Foundation’s support will help us create a magical space gifted to terminally ill children and their families during incredibly difficult times.

“Not only will ElizaLand provide precious memories for families, but the room will also help raise ongoing funds to support children with hair loss all over the nation. We are truly grateful for Morrisons Foundation’s kindness and belief in our mission.”

The Morrisons Foundation was established by the supermarket chain in 2015 and provides grants to charity projects.

According to information supplied with the announcement, the foundation has donated more than £48 million to charities across England, Scotland and Wales over the past 11 years.
