Festival goers at Parklife have embraced a fashion trend heavily influenced by the styles seen at Coachella, with Western inspired outfits and neutral colours dominating the crowds at Heaton Park.
From the moment gates opened, the California festival's influence has been visible across the site.
Fashion is almost as much a talking point as the music today, on the opening day of Parklife, with many attendees drawing inspiration from one of the world's most recognisable festivals.
Coachella's signature boho aesthetic appears throughout Heaton Park, with festival goers opting for lightweight summer outfits, earthy tones and statement accessories. Shades of cream, beige and khaki featured prominently, helping to create a coordinated look across the park.
Cowboy boots emerged as one of the standout trends today. Worn with shorts, crop tops and flowing festival outfits, the footwear added a Western influence that has become increasingly associated with major music events in recent years.
Festival staff and attendees noted a strong presence of boho chic outfits, a style that has become synonymous with Coachella and continues to influence fashion trends at events around the world.
The warm weather conditions today, reaching around 32 degrees, added to the appeal of lighter clothing choices as thousands of people gathered to enjoy performances from artists across multiple stages.
While Parklife remains firmly rooted in Greater Manchester's music scene, this year's fashion choices showed how international festival culture continues to shape the looks seen at large scale UK events.
