Roughyeds fans urged to back the Club Cash lottery

Date published: 21 January 2021

Oldham RL Club is urging fans to join its Club Cash lottery, profits from which have nosedived by more than 50 per cent during the pandemic.

The Betfred Championship club hasn't played a match since last March and says the loss of lottery income has created a financial hole that needs to be addressed.

The weekly prize pot will be cut from £1,850 to £1,275 from February 10, but in a statement on the club website, Roughyeds say membership is still value for money at £1 a week and cuts in prizes are only temporary.

To join, ring John McAndrew on 07980 129541 or the club during office hours on 07904 898177.
