A Shaw estate agent is moving to larger premises on the High Street after expanding its business and team.
Cornerstone Estates & Lettings, founded by Shereen Howarth, says the new office will provide more space for its staff and future recruitment.
The independent estate agent is approaching its tenth year in business and is preparing to move from its current premises.
The move follows a business deal with Valentine's Estates, which Cornerstone says has contributed to its growth.
Work is now taking place to transform the new High Street building before the company moves in.
Founder Shereen Howarth said: "We've grown because people in Shaw have trusted us with their homes and their investments, and I don't take that for granted."
Cornerstone has also been recognised in the British Property Awards and is a finalist in the Heart of the High Street category at the Oldham Business Awards.
The company said the category is new for 2026.
Ms Howarth said remaining an independent business in Shaw was important to her.
"I think people want to see independent businesses succeed," she said. "They want to know who they're dealing with. We are returning to real, person-to-person service. They want businesses that are invested in the same community they are."
Cornerstone says it employs local people and has worked with schools and colleges, supported apprenticeships and taken part in local business and community initiatives.
Ms Howarth is also involved in plans for independent businesses in Shaw to work more closely together.
"I don't think one business can change a town on its own," she said. "But if independent businesses work together, support each other and take pride in where they are, we can make a real difference."
She added: "We're growing, but we're not going anywhere. We're still independent. We're still Shaw. And we're still building this business around the people who have supported us from the beginning."
