Westwood East won Best Restaurant for Greater Manchester, while Jannatur Rahman received the Young Male Entrepreneur of the Year award.
Westwood East was established in Oldham in 1999 by Jamal Uddin.
The restaurant received one of the regional food awards presented as part of the national awards programme.
Jannatur Rahman co-founded Emerald Events in Oldham while also pursuing a career in the pharmaceutical industry.
The events business employs more than 40 people and is expanding into event décor.
The awards also recognised entrepreneurs and businesses working in technology, financial services, law and hospitality, alongside community organisations and volunteers.
