Oldham will be hosting Our League camera crews again on Saturday
Oldham RL Club's Betfred Championship game against Whitehaven this weekend has been brought forward to Saturday, May 8 with a 12.45pm kick-off.
It was originally scheduled for Sunday, May 9 (3pm), but it will now be played at Bower Fold a day earlier and with the earlier kick-off time for purposes of streaming on Our League.
The club will be hosting Our League camera crews again.
Fans can watch the match for £4.95 if they purchase before midnight Friday. Leave it until Saturday and the price goes up to £10.
Meanwhile, Oldham have been fully supportive of the massive sporting boycott of social media this Bank Holiday weekend.
Like many other clubs and governing bodies, including the RFL, Super League Europe, RLWC2021 and the Rugby League Players' Association, Roughyeds withdrew from all their social media platforms until 11.59pm tonight (Monday).
This will underline the club's solidarity with everyone else involved in the boycott and add its voice to the message that nobody should have to suffer abuse, racism or harassment on social media.
The club apologies to anyone who might have been inconvenienced by its boycott, but says it is doing its bit to back a worthy cause and one that deserves the support of people the world over,
The boycott does not apply to the Roughyeds' website - only social media.
