Oldham to go head to head with fans

In the firing line tomorrow will be new head coach Sean Long, managing director Mike Ford, chairman Bill Quinn and several of the new big-name signings
League One big-hitters Oldham, who have taken their 2024 squad numbers to 26 with the signings of Featherstone forwards Elijah Taylor and Matty Wildie, are to stage a fans’ forum at Boundary Park tomorrow night (Tuesday) at 8pm.
In the firing line will be new head coach Sean Long, managing director Mike Ford, chairman Bill Quinn and several of the new big-name signings, including two with special responsibilities for helping out on coaching, Jordan Turner (backs) and Joe Wardle (forwards).
Latest signings Taylor and Wildie, both of whom played under Long at Featherstone last season, have said a key reason for signing two-year deals at Oldham was the chance to work for Long again at Oldham.
Taylor (33), a Kiwi, has played 11 times for New Zealand as a back-row forward, while hooker Wildie, also 33, is Wakefield-born with previous experience of Bradford Bulls, Leigh and Featherstone.
