Hulme Grammar School or Hogwarts?
On Thursday 7th February (World book day), Oldham Hulme Grammar School had a magical transformation and turned the main hall into the Great Hall of Hogwarts to celebrate Harry Potter Book Night.
At the Hogwarts party, students were sorted into their houses, were able to change their muggle money for wizard money and buy Harry Potter themed food and drink before taking part in the quiz.
World book day is celebrated yearly and promotes book reading and publishing across the country. It's the world’s biggest campaign to provide every child and young person in the country with a book of their own
Harry Potter is a series of extremely successful novels, written by JK Rowling. The novel highlights the life of a young wizard ‘Harry’ and his friends. Hogwarts is the featured school of witchcraft and wizardry in the novel.
Lots of magical fun was had by all!
