PENSIONERS got to grips with the latest technology in a bid to keep their minds and bodies active.

Regular sessions were organised at locations across the borough to make sure that residents of all ages experience some form of physical activity.

And judging from the excitement some of the players certainly managed to get the hang of the ten-pin bowling.

Organised with the help of Oldham Athletic Community Trust, this session was clearly a hit.

Oldham Athletic chief executive Alan Hardy said: “This is a great initiative for people of all ages to get involved and to realise that the Nintendo Wii Sport Games is another way to take up a form of exercise and keeping the fun element as well.
