There’s Something About Mary

Mary Fairhurst is a perfect example to learners out there that it’s never too late to start learning or achieve your aims in life.

This lovely lady, who has always got a smile on her face, is glad to tell everyone she is happy with what she is achieving and so she should be! Mary has already achieved certificates including a Clait computer skills course, which was presented to her by the Chairman.

Mary is currently doing a course in French at Werneth Park. This course has boosted her confidence so much that she is now able to give directions to people in French. Mary also said “It does come in very handy on my frequent visits to France”.

Mary has dedicated 39 years of her life to working for the local services. She is currently based at the Oldham Evening Chronicle where she runs PackAge enterprises.

Mary is proud to say “life is a challenge”.
