DELPH and Dobcross Cricket Club has received a welcome makeover as part of the NatWest Cricketforce programme. Staff joined forces with volunteers to get the club ready for the start of the new season, carrying out jobs including painting fences, repairing sidescreens and tidying up the grandstand.
AN application for permission to build a three-storey extension to the office unit at Riverside Court in Huddersfield Road, Delph, will be seen by Oldham Council’s planning department.
DUE to the local elections, Grotton Residents’ Association have brought forward their monthly meeting to Thursday, April 28. All residents are welcome to meet at the Grotton Pavilion for news and views from 8pm.

MORGAN, Wayne Bentley, Jimmy Semple and Sparks will perform as part of a grand charity event at Lees and Hey Conservative Club on April 27 from 7.30pm.
Money will be raised for Dr Kershaw’s Hospice, with £10 tickets available from Gary on 07887-838-918.
