WORK by several local artists will be on display during an exhibition at Friezland Parish Church tomorrow. The church will open its doors from 10am - 4pm, when refreshments will be available.
HOT and cold snacks, a home-made stall, books and a raffle will make a coffee morning at Springhead Community Centre the place to be tomorrow. Taking place at the Ashes Lane centre from 10am-noon, this month’s theme is motoring jumble.
HELP raise funds for Parkinson’s Disease at the Lees and Hey Conservative Club from 1.30pm on Sunday. A raffle, stand-up bingo, auction and live entertainment will entertain the crowds with entry by donation.
PUT your knowledge to the test at Springhead Community Centre on Sunday at a fun-filled quiz. Tickets are £4 including pie and peas supper with proceeds donated to the Community Centre Roof Fund. Tickets on 0161-652-2099 or 633-3271.
OLDHAM Percussion Academy will put on a fun-filled session at Lees Library from 11am- 12.30pm tomorrow. Youngsters can drop in to learn how to play the drums at the free Fun With Percussion class.
HELP raise cash for Macmillan Cancer at a tasty tapas and wine evening at the Three Crowns Inn, Scouthead. Food will be served from 7.30pm on Tuesday.
DON’T miss a talk entitled The Religious Houses of Yorkshire by Dr Judith Frost at Saddleworth Museum in Uppermill from 7.30pm on Friday, May 20.
STALLS will be brimming with bargains at a flea market at Zion Methodist Church in Lees from 10am-2pm on Saturday, May 21. Book for £10 on 0161-652-1049. Cash will be donated to the Royal Oldham Hospital League of Friends.
