DON’T miss a talk by Dr Judith Frost at Saddleworth Museum in Uppermill tonight. Admission is free to The Religious Houses of Yorkshire from 7.30pm.



MOVE to the beat at 50-50 sequence and ballroom dancing at the George Lawton Hall in Mossley tomorrow. Admission is £5.



BROWSE bargain-filled stalls at Zion Methodist Church in Lees tomorrow from 10am-2pm. Proceeds to the Royal Oldham Hospital League of Friends.



BOOK your tickets for the Saddleworth Festival of the Arts early to avoid disappointment. The box office at the civic hall in Uppermill is now open for events between June 4-12. Tickets can also be bought online at www.saddleworthfestival.org.uk or by calling 0844-381-4338.



LOCAL produce will be on offer at St Mary’s School in Manchester Road, Greenfield, on Sunday. Local meat, eggs, cheese, fruit, cakes and garden produce will be on sale from 11am - 3pm.



OVER 40 stalls will fill the civic hall in Uppermill during a flea market from 10am-4pm on Sunday, May 29. Admission is 50p for adults and 30p concessions. All funds raised will be donated to Dobcross Youth Band.



STEP out for a stroll next Tuesday, leaving from Lees Library at 10.15am. It’s free to take part and will be followed by light refreshments back at the library. Call 0161-633 5764 for details.
