ENJOY a brew at the Diggle Diamonds coffee morning at the Hanging Gate from 10.30am tomorrow. Boasting a home-made cake stall, admission to the event is 50p.
A BUMPER summer fun day will be held at Lees Library tomorrow from 1- 4pm to mark Child Safety Week.
SPRINGHEAD Community Centre will be the perfect place to relax and unwind tomorrow with bacon butties and coffee on offer. The fundraising will start at 10am and raise cash for the Parkinson’s Disease Association.

A BLOOMING Great Tea Party will raise cash for Marie Curie Cancer Support Group at Springhead Amateur FC on Sunday, July 3. Face-painting, craft and jewellery stalls will be on offer from 2-4pm, with £3 admission including refreshments and raffle ticket at the base at St John’s Street, Lees. SADDLEWORTH Townswomen’s Guild meet at the Masonic Hall in Uppermill on Tuesday, July 5, from 7.30pm. The meeting will include a summer buffet and the national council conference report. New members are welcome.
BOOK your tickets early for the Saddleworth Parish Council Chairman’s Summer Ball on Friday, July 8. The dazzling event will start at 7.30pm at the civic hall in Uppermill, with entertainment from Wally McKenzie’s Band.
