A FASCINATING glimpse into the life of the Snowy Owl will be on offer for nature lovers at Brownhill Visitors’ Centre in Dobcross on Wednesday, September 14. Gordon Yates will deliver his presentation “Snowy Owl — King of the Arctic” to the Saddleworth Naturalists from 7.30pm.
THE summer holidays come to an end for pupils at Saddleworth School next week. They return to the classroom on Tuesday.
BAG a bargain at a flea market at the civic hall in Uppermill on Sunday from 10am. Put on by the Wrigley Mill Bowling Club in Diggle, money raised on the day will go towards club funds with admission 50p for adults and 30p for concessions.
