BOOK your tickets early for a fabulous Old Tyme Ball at Uppermill Civic Hall in aid of the Saddleworth Parish Council Chairman’s charity.

A TWO-hour charity Zumbathon with the Inspire Dance Academy is being held at the Uppermill parish church hall from 1.30pm on Sunday, October 2. Entry is £5 with proceeds going to Breakthrough Breastcancer.
A FUNDRAISING concert will raise money for local charities at Uppermill Conservative Club tonight from 8.30pm. The Hometowners, Tony Downes, Me and Sam and Dave Pope will take to the stage at the gig, with entry £6.
RUMBLE through the jumble at a sale at Springhead Congregational church from 7pm tonight. Entry to the Radcliffe Street church is 20p in aid of church funds.
PLANNING permission is being sought for change of use to a cafe, bar or restaurant at a property in High Street, Uppermill.

OLDHAM’S Red Hat Society is hosting a coffee morning at the Museum in Uppermill on Thursday next week, from 10.30am. Cards, home-made cakes and plants will be on offer as well as a raffle, with £1 admission in aid of Christies.
