TUCK into a Saturday morning bacon butty tomorrow at the Springhead Community Centre, from 10am. Money raised during the coffee morning will be donated to the Mayor’s Charity Appeal.

A PLANNING application to transform the Alpine Restaurant, in Denshaw, into four flats has been submitted to the council. The application is currently under consultation.
A FLEA market is being staged in aid of the Oldham East and Saddleworth Conservative Association in Uppermill on Sunday. Refreshments will be served at Uppermill Civic Hall, from 10am to 4pm. Admission is 50p and 30p for concessions.
THE next meeting of the Greenfield and Grasscroft Residents’ Association (GGRA) will take place at the methodist chapel upstairs room on Thursday, February 9 , from 7.30pm.
HELP raise cash for Dr Kershaw’s and the Oldham MS Society at a charity quiz at Springhead Liberal Club next Tuesday. Entry is £3, with a raffle, stand-up bingo and general knowledge quiz .
A COFFEE morning at St Chad’s Parish Centre, Uppermill, will be staged on Saturday, February 4, with a raffle and greeting card sale planned. Entry, priced at £1, includes a coffee and a cake and money will be handed to the Parkinson’s Disease Society.
