DISCUSS local issues with the Lees and Hey Home Watch Association at an upcoming meeting. The group will meet at Lees Library on Wednesday, February 29, at 7.30pm.
HELP raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support at a coffee morning tomorrow. Delicious hot beverages will be served up at Delph Methodist Hall from 10am.
THE Diggle Diamonds meet for their get-together at the Hanging Gate in Diggle on Saturday, February 25, from 10.30am. Indulge in tasty home-made cakes with admission only 50p.
A RESCHEDULED wine and tapas night in Scouthead will raise money for the Mayor of Oldham’s charity appeal.
The event, to be held at the Three Crowns, will kick off from 7.30pm on Tuesday.
AUTHOR Dorothy Koomson will give a talk at Lees Library on Friday, February 24, from 7-8pm. The writer, who penned best seller “The Cupid Effect”, will host the event. Tickets, priced £2, are available on 0161-633-5764.
RETRO fun and frolics will come in the form of live music and vintage traders at the Civic Hall at Uppermill on Sunday. Fashion, jewellery and collectables will be on sale from 10am-6pm, with admission £3.50.
