THE Co-operative has opened a new £450,000 food store in Grotton.
The Oldham Road shop was officially opened by store manager Brian Allinson yesterday, with the help of junior rugby players from Saddleworth Rangers. It will create 16 jobs.
The club received a donation of £200 towards club funds from store.
