ENJOY a bacon butty and a cup of coffee at the Springhead Community Centre from 10am tomorrow in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
THE public can attend the meeting of the Saddleworth Parish Council, at the civic hall in Uppermill on Monday from 7.30pm.
SADDLEWORTH police officers will be on hand to deal with queries at a public surgery in Uppermill library on Tuesday. Residents can raise issues with representatives of the neighbourhood team from 11am-noon.
TREAT yourself to a makeover during a Clarins evening at the Uppermill Civic Hall on Wednesday. Tickets for the evening are £4.50 including a glass of wine, cheese and a Clarins goody bag, and can be bought by calling 0161-626-7625. The event will raise money for the parish chairman’s charities and starts at 7.30pm.
THE Lees and Hey Homewatch Association will meet at Lees library on Wednesday at 7.30pm.
MIKE Buckley will give a talk titled “A Considerable Street of Stone Habitation” at the next meeting of the Saddleworth Historical Society at the Millgate Arts Centre, Delph from 7.30pm on Thursday.
ENJOY a day at the races from the comfort of the White Hart in Lydgate on Sunday, March 4 in aid of the Lydgate Band Contest. Tickets are £25 including three-course Sunday lunch and six races at the event that kicks off at 1pm. Contact 01457-872-566.
JOIN churchgoers to celebrate St Chad’s Day in Uppermill from 11am on Sunday, March 4. A service will be held at St Chad’s Church, which will be followed by a celebratory lunch at the Kilngreen Mission Church in Diggle from 1pm. Tickets from Liz Rooke on 01457-810-666.
